Leeds based people tracing company, FinderMonkey is celebrating a business milestone this month as it celebrates solving its 4000th case as well as hitting a turnover of £400,000 for the first time.
The Yorkshire based company specialises in bringing together long lost relatives and friends and has carved out a niche in the field, becoming the UK’s leading experts on tracing people.
In five years, the business, which was started by Ryan Shaw and John Arko, has grown from a back-bedroom start up, which they ran while working in other full time jobs, to a business employing eight people solving about 40 cases a week using sophisticated computer software as well as more old fashioned research techniques.
Ryan Shaw, FinderMonkey’s founder said:
“We’re delighted at the way the business has taken off and to have reached such a significant milestone in our growth after only a few years of trading. Since we started FinderMonkey five years ago, we have reunited over 7,000 people and have now solved 4,000 cases. The majority of people that come to us are looking for birth parents but we have also reunited long lost school friends and more distant relatives from all around the world. “
